As the co-founder and current owner of Inci/Dental Records, Steve Blair (aka V’iLLiN) has made an impact on Toronto’s club & party scene and in the electronic culture since the label’s foundation in the fall of 2002. V'iLLN has been a part of the dance music scene and drum n bass since 1996, and with that followed an interest that lead him to start djing in 1999 and promoting Inci/Dental's first of a series of live events starting in April 2003 called The Jungle Incident; located at Club 254, downtown Toronto.

He & his partners quickly developed a following and were hosting events and performing all around southern Ontario with Toronto's top names including DJ Spinz, Trek-E, Mystical Influence, Medicine Muffin & Marcus Visionary to name a few and soon V'ILLiN was playing shows and getting booked along side worldwide superstars like Capital J, Freaky Flow, Shaka Zulu, DJ Bill Kelly, Adam F, Fabio, DJ Flight, Jon Otto, & the legendary DMC Finalist & drum n bass pioneer- DJ Hype!

At the same time, he has always thought it very important to give opportunities to up-and-coming performers looking to get some exposure in Toronto’s massive scene by never forgetting he was once there too. The Jungle Incident at 254 was the first dnb club night to offer an 'Open Decks' concept that was an opportunity for up and comers each week. Always innovative and notorious for being the only DJ to bring dance-floor-oriented drum n’ bass to Toronto’s LGBT community every Thursday at one of the village's most notable weekly events...”FAST FORWARD.”

Known for his hard yet emotionally connected, bouncy style laced with unexpected remixes, big pounding bass and the tools to scratch- he has definitely stood out from those around him because of his unique style.

V’iLLiN has performed at the Winter Music Conference in Miami several times and has been broadcast over www.djshows.com, www.thewomb.com, afterhoursdjs.org, Medicine Muffin’s RINSE OUT show on 88.1FM, and on Psychic Vibrations Radio online at deepbassnine.com.

V’iLLiN creates virtually all of the promotional graphic design for Inci/Dental, Venom & his co-laborations and has designed easily over thirty flyers for his events and others concepts as well!

V’iLLiN is also responsible for organizing the first ever official Toronto DNB Showcase for the Winter Music Conference in Miami in March 2005, Northern Touch! A new project - almost to completion, V'iLLiN worked in a New Orleans studio recording and jamming with Boyd Tinsley of the Dave Matthews Band and other live musicians on the music for the film, "Faces in the Mirror" - directed by Aaron Farrington which will be released this fall!

V’iLLiN’s versatility allows him to be able to walk into any party and make sure the crowd goes crazy on the dancefloor and in their heart, through his melding of sounds, styles, feelings and a sarcastic social conscience that always seems to seep through. Whether its new school drum n bass, old school jungle drums, raw hip hop badness, soulful r&b hooks, jazzy breakdowns or pure turntablism madness- Always evolving as a part of jungle/drum n bass culture; V'iLLiN will ensure that even if you’ve never heard jungle before – you’ll walk away having felt how much passion, creativity and fun goes into his artistry.
