Rek'D is the creation of Springfield, Pennsylvania native, Scranton University student, and DJ/producer, Derek Donato. For over 10 years, music has been a significant part of Derek's life--whether playing the drums with his band, Reef'd, or producing with Ableton Live.
In 2009, one of Derek's first mashups, "Party In A Milli," was posted on the popular blog BroBible.com under the moniker DJ Derekflow, where it received much praise.
Since then, Derek, now under the alias, Rek'D, has been on a tear releasing mashups and original productions featuring different genres and styles--perfecting his craft in the hopes of one day breaking down the barrier into DJ stardom.
