When I was about 12-years old, I could play piano a bit and knew a little bit about sheet music. I started learning Final Fantasy music, mostly from ringtones on my phone. You could see the notes on the phone and compose music on it yourself! Thank you Nokia!

I created my first short tune at that time (12-13 years old) and was very proud, so I wrote it down as sheet music.

Unfortunately, I didn't write down the date, but I still have it left! The piece was called Final Fantasy Stories, because of my love for the game series and video game music in general.

A few years later I got really into hip-hop. I started writing lyrics and making beats on the computer. The lyrics writing part gradually faded away as making beats was always more interesting. I never forgot about video game music though, I was actually trying to make my own games on RPG maker =)

As a 16-year-old I started to shift back towards metal music. A year after that I got a good digital piano, 8.5 months later an acoustic guitar and 9 months later I bought an electric guitar. I had reached adulthood, but my musical taste started to grow instead.

After all these years, I've listened to a lot of different genres, but I'm getting more and more into video game music. I've attended video game music concerts in Japan, Germany, Sweden and the US. We need them in Finland too!
