Joe Wilkens became dedicated to the world of music early on. With music loving parents and him playing the violing and trumpet, music became an essential part of his life. His love of music turned to the decks when he first got them at age twelve and started mixing at classmates parties and helping his dad out with his weekly radioshows. Joe quickly became obsessed with playing records for others.

Joe earned his stripes spinning techno on raves and underground party’s. His sets are on the edge and go from Soulfull House, Funky Techno to Tribal and Rave sounds. He loves the underground and doesn’t often come out for a solo sets above ground, but when he does he loves to go all out! In general you will see him spinning together with one of his L8 colleagues, each b2b with its own unique flavor.

He and his fellow L8 dj (and brother) Behoorlijk recently decided to team up in a collaboration called Midnight Machines. To bring their unique underground flavor to the people!
