Alexa Merlot, born Sarah-Louise McCarthy is a singer/songwriter/producer from just outside Dublin, Ireland. At 19, Merlot moved to London and it was there she honed her skills and embraced a huge passion for composition and production.

In 2010, Merlot, 23, adopted the stage name Alexa Merlot when she won two National Music Awards with Access to Music UK in Songwriting and Production.
Alexa Merlot spends her time on aspiring to be both a profound songwriter and an artist. She possesses a power in both her co-writing works and individually which is sure to bring her into the spotlight in the near future.
