About
9000 Knobs is the name of the musical electronic project by Bram Nevejans.
I was born in 1989 @ Ghent, Belgium.
I began making music around 2000, in my bedroom ,
with very little gear and knowledge.
Due the power of internet and self education i developed producing skills and techniques.
We are now 2012 , and a lot of things happened.
Ive been producing en cooperating the 9000 knobs project for years ,
but circumstances evolved into a solo project.
I had a wonderfull collaboration time ! Awesome musical years !
I will be focusing more into liveset arrangement and performance , featuring progressive driven dance tracks.
I really got madly obsessed by this project. Its growing every day.
On the other side , i am working on more instrumental, melodic, orchestral based music.
Mainly for video soundtrack usage.
This keeps my head creative and brings in funds for my next projects.
The stuff I use is Ableton live 8 , some hardware synths , and al lot of midi devices.
On stage , I try to keep things dynamic by modulating and resequencing the tracks live.
The APC 40 and the Launchpad are the 2 most essential midi units in my setup.
The APC controls the send levels , fx racks and triggers scenes and clips .
Meanwhile, the launchpad is being used for launching predefined fx envelopes and buildup sounds.
I like to tweak things as much as possible.
Thats why I need a lot of knobs.
9000 Knobs has experience with more instrumental soundtrack composition, producing jingles and advertising sounds, recording sessions and video montages.

@discowmayhem: Good mix , made me groove all morning.
Yeah also a cool dark twitch track . You have a very dark undertone in your tracks. I like that. I have one remark : Put your drums louder and better EQ´d , because sometimes the kick is a bit pushed away by the massive soundlayers on top. I know the problem ... Sidechain things to kick , and bring up the mix levels of the drum parts, definitly the kick :) Cool music man .
Still ravin with sunglasses in a factory
Big old Factory sound
That was a weird journey. But i think weird is good . It gives me a feeling i have never had in music. Dark but happy but o so haunted. Cool. Yeah.
Creative ambience
@9000 Knobs: Use it more , haha !!
Very cool bass sub layer
I like the overall sweeping theme , yet the drums could be enhanced a bit more to give the track more pumping dynamics. Cool synthlayerz, trancy sounding , not cheesy though :)
Cool style
Is that the pitch of the synth your modding ? or the lfo ? or a pitch assigned to an lfo ? I really like this synthlayer ( i mean the main lfo mod rated pupupupupupupup thingy ) But how did you do it ? Very very cool
Yeah man , this totally works great. Superclubby but done great !
Great fx again
Great Fx
Yeah , great groove addon , seriously good groove
Grooooovin ! Builded that up very cool and progressive
@MachineToolOperation: 2 nd that Karl
Juplaaaaa
Yeah , decent grooving track . A bit empty for my personal taste, but it fits in its genre. Good production , clean clear pounding sound , must work great on the big PA speakers. I like a bit more melody and elements though. Anyway, everything settles fine and sound pretty ok to me ! :)
Would expcected a build
Sounds like an old jupiter or korg analog synth. Wich one is it ?
Cool melody change.
Yeah , groove is getting its shape
Nice round kick .
Cool production, has all the elements that it needs. Vocal adds nice groove and harmonic. Good work mate !
Cool track , nice mixing , very cool delay effects.
Creative vocal
@MachineToolOperation: Its now the second version , and i am still struggling with this feeling :) Need more work ... :( :)

Cool tracky , would prefer more elements
Reverb on acid layer is supercool
