Out Now On Out Of Bounds
    1. EXT12
    2. Purple Haze
    3. Inside

When the Chicago pioneers were crafting the sound of deep house in the mid–1980s, Out Of Bounds’ next artiste, LGG, was yet to be born. LGG (La Grosse Godasse) is young French producer Bastien Carrara and with his debut EP, titled Behind The Scenes, he introduces the world to his pensive, layered, swirling and shimmering deep house sound. LGG stamps his infectiously raw blend of lazy beats, sub space bass, and atmospherics to create three very distinct takes on club music. The pulsating journey that is “EXT12” kicks things off with bright synth chords and a thoughtful build. “Purple Haze lowers the tempo to a gentle, housey crawl that’s wrapped in warm, lush pads … gorgeous stuff. The deep, buring “Inside” completes the EP with a hypnotic, filtery motif that feels a bit like slow motion skydiving. The Behind The Scenes EP from LGG and the Out Of Bounds label is a late night triumph, filled with unique underground house sounds ready for cerebral DJ sets.

Al Bradley (3am Recordings) - “Pretty much impossible to choose one track here, so I’ve gone for the slightly Mr Fingers-esque ‘EXT12’ … but in all honesty all three cuts are superb.”
    Alexander East - “DEEP!”
Spettro - “A classy vibe on ‘Inside.’ Sexy and deep. Very well done.”
Will SumSuch (DeepWit / Etoka) - “Really tasty stuff. ‘EXT12’ and ‘Inside’ are the ones for me. Lovely!”
Joey Silvero (Distant People) - “A dreamy, laid back sound. I like the tempo here.”
DJ Therry (Jerk House Connection) - “So deeeeeeeep. Full support.”
Michael Fossati (Spirit Of House) - “A seminal deep house release featuring three equally amazing deeper than deep cuts.”
Minus 8 (Compost / Stereo Deluxe) - “Hypnotic!”
Mark Reynolds (Just Chillin Radio Show, Australia) - “‘Purple Haze’ makes it feel as if time has slowed down!”
SimonG (Deep South Audio, New Zealand) - “Nice, classic Detroit-ish sound … quality from the roots up.”
DJ Nova (Rodon FM, Greece) - “Out Of Bounds is already one of my new favorite record labels. ‘EXT12’ recalls the excellent sound of Zurich’s Drumpoet Community. I’m also lost in the deepness of the mid-tempo ‘Purple Haze’ and love the deep power of ‘Inside’ and its Detroit edge.”

Additional support from Mark Farina, Daz-I-Kue, ALTZ, Tommy Largo, DJ EMan, Makossa & Megablast, DJ Harri (Sub Club), Stephan Hoellermann, Vincent Kwok, and Benji Candelario.
