A Tack-Fu & DJ Earl-e collaboration. The basic tracking was discovered a year ago on a mis-placed cassette tape . Low-Fi drums and a sampled bassline were put together by DJ Earl-e on a Tascam 8-track, but the tracks had not been touched or enhanced at all in 10 years. Tack-Fu decided to blend in a higher fidelity drum track and started to sample bird calls and whistles along with a sweet harp sample to compliment the nature/organic vibe. "Tar" is for the gritty analog hiss and dirty vinyl samples, "Feather" refers to the bird calls. Mastered by Tucker Burns.
