Before and After the purchase of the Yamaha CX5M Music Computer. Here are my first efforts using the Music Composer and Voice Editing cartridges.
All material solo except for Tony Trebilcock's sped-up gurgled snippet of the Donna Summer hit I Need Love.
Sayonara by 5X0D was recorded in Cardiff during this period.
All recordings made on the Tascam Portastudio 244 - such a creative piece of kit. Thanks Tascam.

The ZX 81 Zon-x voice synthesizer still going strong here, now joined by a hidden Japanese female voice message on the Music Macro Cartridge for the CX5M system - mind you, I'm not sure what she's saying!

No samplers in use yet so this Orchestral hit must've been recorded from somewhere and added in!

My first CX5M recording - no sequencing, just trying out some of the FM sounds (and, I've just realised) recycling a riff from a previous, faster piece!
