Paul would like to come over for a weekend of music making etc.
This is Part 1/2 of a compilation of his songs, the music for which we made together.

    John The Baptist (edit)
    No Stone Turned
Grey Dance (For these two tracks Paul came up with the band name Grey Flag. These are the only recordings of Grey Flag.)
    [8th December 1984 - from my Tape 28]

    An Horn Of Salvation
    Improvisation Collage
    [25th August 1985 - from my Tape 30]

For Those Next To Die (edit) (Here, Paul is putting his voice through delay effect and the delayed sound is put back into the headphones he was wearing. This is like when there is an audible loopback on a phone line and you can hear yourself speaking. This was deliberate, to create for himself a difficulty in saying the words!)
    [19th/20th October 1985 - from my Tape 30]

John The Baptist, An Horn Of Salvation and For Those Next To Die were going to be the three tracks of an album called Sent Empty Away.
Paul played my acoustic guitar, bass guitar (we were both left handed), keyboards, synths, violin, toy instruments and Casio sampling drum machine. All recordings were done on a Tascam 244 Portastudio, then mastered onto an Akai reel to reel tape machine before being copied onto cassette tape. They were made in my small top floor room at 117 Cathedral Road.
What you can't see in the accompanying pcture is my largish swivel chair that Paul would happily plant himself into, as the the laughably bad kung-fu film was inserted into the video machine!
