    Here is a review of the DOGCHILD cassette from a Cassettezine of the time.

    "After listening to this tape I think the secret is just to have it as
    background music/noise. (Cheers - ed.) It's a bit patchy. Some
    tracks are just plain boring (e.g. Pseudo Martyr) while 'Timeline'
    suffers from just lasting a little too long. However, one song, 'Song For
    Louise' almost makes up for all of the tapes other faults. Ironically
    it's one of the most simply structured tracks, with a guitar the most
    prominent instrument. A future direction perhaps? (No - ed.) Another criticism is
    that i feel some of the tracks could benefit from some singing rather
    than intoning of the lyrics. Finally i reckon 5X0D used a speak and
    spell machine before OMD." DS
