About

500 Records is an artist run record label that calls Northern California's Bay Area home. 500 Records staff includes artist from both sides of the bay that are all a part of the local indie music scenes in the area. 500 Records was established in 2005 as a simple label and music collective to help artists and bands whom did not have the attention of a “real” record label. Over the past 3 years we have worked with many great bands and have slowly but surely increased our usefulness to bands by moving towards being a “real” record label. In 2008 we partnered with the established bay area record label, Three Ring Records, whose experience and enthusiasm for local music has allowed 500 Records to secure full national and international distribution for its current and prospective artists in the physical and digital realm. We are indeed now a “real” record label and we are pleased to extend 500 Records releases to you for review and consideration.
