Nic Pallett – recording/mix engineer, musician & composer

Nic’s musical career spans over 20 years. In the early 90s he studied audio production at RMIT and played guitar and keys in Melbourne band Planet Max, who were signed to the WOW Management and John Woodruff agency (who also managed Boom Crash Opera, Baby Animals, Richard Pleasance and The Sharp). Planet Max toured regularly with all of these bands and also shared the stage with the likes of Skunkhour, The Truth, Vika and Linda Bull, Ross Hannaford, Painters and Dockers and Chocolate Starfish, to name a few.
More recently, Nic has been recording and touring with Audiac and Jensen Electric, and finding himself on stage with five giant puppets and DJ Lance Rock as part of the Yo Gabba Gabba Live show.
Nic has composed and produced music for television commercials, short films and corporate communication and regularly puts his hands (and ears) to production sound recording, audio post-production and television broadcast.
Other than playing music, Nic’s real passion is recording and mixing. He has a number of credits from his home based studio, 440Hz, ranging from rock to pop, hip hop to country.
