I was born in 1984, in Tallinn, Estonia (former soviet union). Been involved with music my whole life. Studied violin in childhood, stopped at age of 12. When I got 16, I went to a black-metal concert which inspired me to start making music of my own. I didn't have (enough motivated) friends to make band with, so I had to start experimenting alone. I had a computer with half-duplex Creative AWE 64 audio interface and a cheap microphone which I lent from a friend. Mostly I recorded odd sounds, manipulated them with the software which came bundled with Soundblaster and then composed with those sounds in famous Estonian program called SoundClub. I have never used tracker type sequencers. Within that time I've tried all kind of programs and hardware. For last couple of years I haven't used any virtual instrument because of their lack of sound quality. My 2nd hobby next to composing electronic music is doing field recordings in the nature.
Til today I have released couple of albums, my music has been released on several compilations and I'm still very active. I wouldn't stick myself with any specific genre, I've done pieces from acoustic music to dark ambient to electronica to pop to acid techno. See my websites for all kind of information.
About my education - I've studied architecture in a college of engineering, stopped - didn't like the school etc. But I've been working on the field and am quite educated. Started studies in a Musical Academy in 2009 - specifically electronic music.
My pseudonyms other than my real name include Wochtzchée, Hape and 3He.
