3am Recordings has been around since 2003, releasing EPs ranging from midtempo through to tech-house, artists appearing including Ciudad Feliz (aka Julian & Fenando from 2020 Soundsystem), Alex Moran, Ben Dean, Danny Stott, Paul Woolford, Sound Navigators, Claire Ripley Flash Atkins, Dealers Choice, Ross Couch, Pete Dafeet, Rithma & Cosmic Groove Transmission plus a whole host more.
During this time we've had DJ Mag take us to Poland for our 2nd birthday, resulting in a 2-page spread in the Jul 05 issue , plus we had a covermount CD whch went out on iDJ Mag in Jul 04 for our 1st birthday, this went to 23,000 people worldwide. Also in 2011 DJ Magazine Spain used a 3am exclusive mix for their weekly podcast during SONAR 2011.
We have showcased artists with their debut or early releases, who have gone on to work for other labels within the house community, namely Ben Dean, Danny Stott, Chemical Warfare, Inbetween DJs, Pete Dafeet & Carlo Gambino to name just a couple.
Moving forward, the label hopes to continue to follow in the footsteps of the labels which inspired it such as Paper, 2020 Vision, Glasgow Underground & Toko etc by pushing new artists alongside established ones & focusing on quality house music all the way.
