    1337-026 | YWI - KANISHNA EP
Remixes by SIL & BENJAMIN FEHR.
    128 BIT SAMPLES.

Today we present you a new digital EP by Ywi, a young man from Argentina who presents well done minimal techno with a lot of clever arrangements. The release starts with 'Kanishna', a dark minimal track with a touch of ambience. A heavy industrial pad sound wanders through the ether, followed by strange noises and evil spirits. Lovely darkness surrounds you, just let yourself go. Benjamin Fehr has been summoned to provide a remix for this track and the result is a trippy groove noir mix with a dark synthetic touch. The track 'Goufer' begins with an obscure wobbling melody, that makes you feel like stumbling through a maze. A beat that keeps you on the move with voices of strange people in the back. Now it's up to you, which way do you want to go? Sil from the Easy Changes duo has mastered the maze with his awesome remix skills and is now waiting for you to arrive on the other side. 'Kulumba' is another dark minimal track that keeps you on the run, chased by undead waveforms. Nobody hears you screaming in the dark... The only way to escape the madness is to get yourself a copy!

    Tim Tor (Bluecode Records)
I like the atmosphere in the tracks, as they are moody but still striking. Benjamin's remix is absolutely great. It is almost like he introduced 80s punk into minimal. Love it.
