"Two little mice fell into a bucket of cream.
The first mouse struggled for a short while but quickly gave up and drowned.
The " 2ND MOUSE " struggled so hard that EVENTUALLY, he churned the cream into butter ------ and crawled out.
Today , I am that 2nd MOUSE
2ndMOUSE ( totally unconnected with other dead rodent5 =P , or , the getting of cheese ) will use any sound , from any genre , and spit out a slightly eccentric idm hybrid , which doesn't neatly fit into any one particular genre / label / box. .........
I have made IDM long before the acronym was ever introduced , but I didn't know how to classify it way back then .
I think what I do sits somewhere between IDM , which is often cold and very clinical............and Detroit Techno.
There are few IDM artists who simultaneously like to experiment wildly , but also "craft" catchy hooks and melodies , which have a warmth / musical depth , and this is something I try to bring to the table.
Bands I admire would be Plaid , Plone , Boards of Canada , Vesna , but i'm equally inspired by non-electronic music , such as Warpaint , The cooper temple clause , David Bowie , Crowded House , to name but a few........
In short , every track here is different from the next.
That's how I roll
Thanks.for connecting.
