About

2GI began working together in 1999 and since then they have produced what they wanted, their own way: from pop to experimental, acid house to ambient, and IDM to rock. Obviously, as their name suggests, they dressed all the influences with a deep love for trash and British sense of humour.
Their first outfit was “Coded Rock”, released for Acedia Music netlabel in 2004, an EP that gained their first award from Cubase Magazine Italy, whose success led to four more EPs on Acedia and other labels.
After a break, filled with side project, soundtracks for short films, and remixes, 2GI returned to producing new music in 2008.
This three years' work led to their first proper album called “Cartello Fiorentino” and to the single “Pop Scorn”, both out now from the fledgling label “Futonji Records” and available in electronic formats and CD.
Their latest work shows them merging the experience in sound design they have gained since their beginning with new experimentations in generative visuals, sound reaction and interaction.
