When you're constantly working in the studio, as I've been doing for the past month, you need to take breaks. For me, that is sometimes playing along to another song, simply for therapeutic purposes. But if you're also a creative person who's also perfectionist like me (bordering on anal when it comes to getting something right), you then end up recording what was simply just supposed to be a soothing 5-minute, finger-stretching exercise but end up spending 2 straight days on it and manage to get your friend/vocalist to take a crack at it, although he only learned the lyrics 10 min prior to singing it.

Anyway, from one of my new favorite groups of the past couple years--Little Dragon--and one of my favorite songs--"Twice"--which is so peaceful, even if melancholy, to listen to. Funny how a song about cheating and insecurity can be so soothing lol
