“Vedran Pusic, aka ‘207’ is a Croatian based producer/DJ, originating from the beautiful city of Pula, the home of Outlook and Dimensions festival. Originally he began producing hip-hop, however soon found his way to Dubstep, taking influence from his surroundings and through his love for the innovators of the genre.
Currently living in Zagreb, he’s been working hard in the studio, creating explosive tracks filled with mid-range aggression, thumping bass lines and a variety of space-bread synths. Through his use of twisting SFX, dynamic drum patterns and his occasional use of space, he often creates a ferocious rolling track, consisting of a myriad of sounds from top to bottom.
Recently releasing his debut EP on Indigo Movement consisting of two immense tracks, ‘Distraction/Rubber Room’, he’s steadily beginning to create an audience, as more and more people become attracted to his mesmeric sound. With this release as an example, he tends to build from the bottom through an atmospheric backdrop; digging into his imagination and fortifying his tracks with ultimate depth.
Luckily for you, he’s recently been signed and will be releasing more music on an EP which will feature on the very fitting Bacon Dubs, soon to be released in their ever-growing catalogue of monstrous releases.
With strong support from numerous heavyweight artists such as N-type, BunZer0 and Demon amongst others, the rise of ‘207’ is surely just around the corner.
In addition to making tracks he’s part of the Seasplash Pula Crew, who strive to bring multi-genre nights to the bass lovers of Pula under the name of ‘Rojc Showcase’. If you’re ever around and see one of these nights commencing, make sure you get down and attend.”
