18 inch consists of Ginjah and Hoodoo, both real reggae lovers. Their concept saw the light of day in 2007 and is there first long term project inspired by the Jamaican and European dubscene.

Ginjah maybe lost all of his dreads, this selecta still got the jah love which you can here in his mixes. They're as versatile as they are solid, containing all the wonders of the reggae music. As a serious vinyl collector his collection reaches from the oldskool roots to the newskool dub of today. His productions are full of bass which you can hear below and are guided by the melodica of Irie Tim and the congo's of Ras nick.

Hoodoo's collection consists mostly of Roots and Culture but you can also catch this all arounder playing Dubwise, Ragga Jungle, Acid or even the nasty Hardcore beats. As a grafic designer he created most of the logo's on the mekitburn site and is our main flyer technician.

Fond of collabs, 18 inch mostly collaberates with Ras Nick and Irie Tim, 2 of the main members of Irie Lion which you can find in the artist section for more reggaetastic music. Ras Nick is the percussionist in this live reggaeband and Irie Tim the vocalist. Together with 18 inch they bring a show with live melodica and percussion.
