Ruhr-Area in Germany. 12rec´s founders and curators are Sven Swift and Sim Sullen.
So far 12rec. offers 53 releases as free CC-licensed downloads or beautiful handmade CD-Rs.
Round about 62 artists and bands from 10 countries contributed some of their work.
We're looking for new music everyday. What kind of? There seems to be a rest of Pop in all of our releases, this should be enough to give you a hint when wondering ‘bout the 12rec.-sound. No complaining about styles, we don't mind if the music is made of guitars, synthesizers or field-recordings. It should be touching, experimental or best both. Feel invited!
