unreleased-from-shoals-session
during the session for my CD "shoals" i made many, many loops and recordings as well as about 3 times as many tracks that ended up on the album. most of these outtakes were never fully formed or finished and only 4 pieces ended up on the CD.
this is one of those unfinished and unreleased songs that i rediscovered tonight after listening back to the sessions.
it was recorded live in a room full of gamelan instruments with two Neumann U47 microphones through Grace preamps and feeding into a custom looping tool i designed with Kyma.
i might break it apart or somehow rework it into a new piece.

Lovely stuff. I like these low thuds in this mix - I don't recall hearing those in the Shoals release.
