This set is amazing, I've listened to it a few times. All songs work well together and evoke emotions...for me; unease. Strong work. Was this set done with only the OP-1?

@rumpelfilter: yes, the drums do get drowned out a little, but I don't mind when that happens.

yeah its a sample based tracker. It has 8 tracks maximum. For this song I used 3 tracks for samples and 5 tracks of midi sequencing to control micron. There is an f100 up on ebay right now if you are interested. If you want to send midi you'd also need the piggy to midi converter.

yes this one is less drones/random noise and more structured. For this I used: micron and gp2x running LGPT...nothing swank, but fun as hell. The kick, snare and a distorted strings sound that plays though the whole song are sequenced and played back with lgpt. All the rest, bass, both melodies, break synth part etc... are micron sequenced with lgpt midi. Glad you liked it. More like this to come...with shruti and shruthi (once it is out) involved.

One of my favorite things about Shruti...XOR. More XOR!

Shruti one handling the sequence. 1 step to 16 steps then back to 1. Plus cross modulation madness.

So this one features a variation of the Pablo patch. I don’t know how far off it is from the original because I saved a tweaked version over the original. So in this recording the only looping filter sequence sound is shruti. It starts with shruti then a micron bass tone comes in then shruti’s filter gets opened up then the rest of the micron sounds are added. It is the shruti sound that gives the song its character though.

@rumpelfilter: yes shruti is involved. I posted the details on the mutable instruments forum. I'll just paste it here too:
