Hello World!

Here at the 11Eleven Project, we have set out to bring you together to help us to tell the story of one day. The 11th of November, 2011 - 11/11/11.

We asked people all over the world to help us to create a snapshot of the world on this day through film, photography, music, sound and text.

The objective of the project was to plant a seed of compassion, to allow all people to gain perspective of our world as a whole. The 11Eleven Project is a time capsule, a human snap shot of life in the 21st century - a unique global perspective told by the people, for the people. By bringing the world together as one, we open up the opportunity for people to view our planet as a singular entity. 11/11/11 was an occasion to illustrate the commonalities amongst all people and to witness the shared experience amongst every human being living on planet Earth. With this representation may come an enlightened sense of global awareness, responsibility and recognition.

"What now?", I hear you ask. Well... The content that we have received (and are still receiving!) is going to be collated and curated by us and turned into a 2 hour cinematic documentary, a photobook and a world music collection.

This project is completely not-for-profit and the money received from the sale of these projects is going to be split between our six charity partners:
