Learn About Sharing Sounds
Sharing is easy with SoundCloud, check out our tips below!
Before You Start
You can share sounds that have been uploaded by you or by others - you can even embed these sounds into Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot, Wordpress and your own personal website. Scroll down the page for all the different options!
Embeding In General
You can embed your sounds on any page by using our widgets and apps. Go to the sound that you want to embed, click the "Share" button, copy the HTML code which is identified as "Embed Code" and then embed that full code into the HTML section of your blog, or website.

- All you have to do is copy the sound's url and attach it as a link when updating your status on Facebook. The url will automatically render the standard widget for you once it's posted! If this isn't working, try this:
- You can work around this by doing the following: copy the url of your sound/set and paste it to Facebook. Then at the end of the url add ?23 before posting your status message. This will generate a new set of metadata and will generate your player.
To share to Twitter, all you have to do is go to the share button on the sound you want to share and click the Twitter button. From there, the sound will get pushed to Twitter and show up in your timeline!
