Sharing Your Sounds to Social Networks

The 'Connections' feature in your account settings will let you save time when sharing your sounds to other social networks like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.

Before you start

To be able to automatically share your new sounds and favorites you'll need to connect your social network accounts with your SoundCloud account. This of course requires you to already have signed up for a Twitter, Facebook or MySpace account.

Overview

First, go to your 'Connections' settings in your SoundCloud account where you'll see a list of supported social networks. You can now choose to connect your MySpace, Twitter and/or Facebook accounts with SoundCloud and automatically push new uploads and favorites to the selected services. Simply click 'Connect' and allow the services to access your SoundCloud account.

You can now also edit the default message that will be sent out alongside your new upload or favorite. Enter the note of your choice and click 'Save'. That's it, once you've successfully connected your accounts and added a note, SoundCloud will automatically push your new sounds and favorites to the social network accounts you've selected.

If you no longer wish to automatically push your updates to a service, simply disable the setting or disconnect your account entirely.
