I know you were trying to be practically creative with the edits around the lesser parts of the DP track. But by my ears, all that excessive splicing seems to overwhelm and defeat the distinction of the beat, which makes this mash sound as if it were a "rush job" and, frankly, makes for a bit of an unsettling listening experience. I know your a longtime veteran at this, Lee, so I trust you do review your work after finishing up each edit you make. So, for all I know, you probably did intend to allow yourself to go hogwild with the edits, which is fine, so long as it matches your vision. So I won't heap the whole bit about taking too much creative licence on you. On the whole, though, this stands out rather well and makes for a real good "floorsmasher"!
