DJ History

Citronic &rt; Technics 1200's &rt; Vestax VCI-300 with Serato Itch &rt; NI Traktor Kontrol S4

A music lover from an early age blah blah ha ha..my first record was Parade by Spandau Ballet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Started out with a couple of Citronix platters back in 1992 held together with a couple of wires whilst at college. Moved on to a couple of direct drive stantons and the onto the wonderful Technics 1200's with a Numark mixer. I sold the Technics in January 2008 (yes I nearly cried) to make way for the digital revolution using the Vestax VCI-300 midi controller with Serato Itch Software. Now gone a tiny step further and currently using the Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S4 and Traktor Pro.

I have had guest spot at numerous parties since 2008 including Raw Filth, Fusion presents.., Echo Boart Parties, Habit, Lunar, Pukka Up, Luna, Digital Detox, The Egg and Garden of Eden alongside such luminaries as the Hoxton Whores, Norman Jay, Andy Trafford, Jon Fisher, the crew from Point Blank FM, Ian Tucker, Brandon Block, DIY Soundsystem and Clara Da Costa (Ibiza Global Radio/Es Paradis). I also have a weekly residency on www.radioactivefm.co.uk fortnightly on Mondays from 20:00 to 22:00 GMT.

Production / Remix History

Started producing tunes circa 1997 (after everyone became a DJ!!) using the great Roland 303 Groovebox. I re-started in 2006 under the artist/DJ name "1000 Cutts" using Garageband, then Logic Express and now I have moved onto Logic Studio in May 09.
