JIMMIE C was born and raised in the Chicago land area. Music and Volleyball have always been a big part of his life, being a preachers son he had no choice but to get involved in music. Jimmie C has been trying to get into mainstream music for about 18 years and is determined to get there no matter how long it takes. After being betrayed by Rap-A-Lot Records in 1998 only making $150.00 for a song that he was the lead vocalist on Do or Die -Heads or Tales album track- 8 "Can I" (that sold over 500,000 copies) feat. Beyond Content. Shortly after this, his singing group broke up. He still kept creating music and writing to maintain his talent, never giving up, and developed it to an above average level to compete with the breach of technology that has made the overall sound of music flawless compared to the old days, but has watered down the display of true talent in industry artists. Jimmie C's vision is to bridge the gap between the old school and new school for all ears and he is eager to be apart of your every day life through his form of original sound which brings motivation and promotes love for all to enjoy. At this present time he is completing his first demo album of 10 of his best works. Jimmie C writes produces and arranges his own music.
